Mission Statement
Our local Justice Court is the court closest to the people. Our court is a separate and independent branch of government, and our impartiality can not be influenced by anyone.
It is our responsibility to ensure that everyone involved recognizes that our sole responsibility is to those cases and parties that come before us; to ensure that the government does prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt before we take away a defendant’s liberty.
We maintain the integrity of the Court, always mindful of our activities concerning the law, the legal system and the administration of justice, and do not cause doubt on the capacity to decide impartially any case that may come before the court. That everyone who appears in our court, to include the defendant, complainant, witness, law enforcement, and attorney, be treated with respect, in a lawful manor, assuring them that their legal rights be observed.
To avoid any impropriety and the appearance of impropriety in all court activities. To uphold the ethical standards of the Unified Court system while upholding the local, state and federal laws and Constitution, with Justice for all.
