Local Waterfront Revitalization Program(LWRP)

A Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) is a planning document that expresses a vision for the waterfront area and provides the means to achieve that vision. Using an LWRP, the Town can refine Statewide coastal policies to better reflect unique local situations.

The document provides a comprehensive overview of local conditions, establishes priorities, and identifies potential projects and activities to help achieve local priorities.

Once approved, the LWRP becomes the basis for aligning local, state, and federal actions needed to achieve community goals for the waterfront.
